CANON VIRGINIA, INC. ANNOUNCES WINNER OF FREE MOLD

 CANON VIRGINIA ANNOUNCES WINNER OF PLASTIC INJECTION MOLD SWEEPSTAKES

                  No- Spill, LLC is Selected to Receive a Mold valued at up to $50,000


Newport News, Va., October 13, 2009 – And the winner is No-Spill, LLC, in Shawnee Mission, Kan. Canon Virginia, Inc. (CVI) selected the winner of the mold from the Request for Quotes (RFQs) received during the four month long sweepstakes. CVI first introduced the sweepstakes for a thermoplastic injection mold, valued at up to $50,000, at this year’s NPE International Plastic show in Chicago.

CVI conducted the sweepstakes, which required participants to register and submit a RFQ between June 1 and September 30. No purchase was necessary to enter or to win the mold. Participants were able to register at the NPE show or through the CVI Web site.

“The sweepstakes was an opportunity for Canon to further showcase our global mold making capabilities,” said Takayoshi Hanagata, president and chief executive officer of Canon Virginia. “Our worldwide alliance with other Canon companies allows us to provide a global solution to nearly any business that is seeking a high-quality, precision mold.”
